Sermon: (Part 1) A Blind Eye Causes a Greedy Heart
Summary: Jesus taught more on the topic of money than any other issue, second only to the kingdom of heaven.  He spoke on money more than love or heaven and hell combined.  Why is Jesus so concerned about money?  In Matthew 6:19-24, Jesus shows us that our use of money reveals where our hearts truly rest.  Materialism has a way of distorting everything we see in life.  Greed is voluntary blindness where we refuse to ask the hard questions about our heart's true significance, security and devotion.  The #1 thing that threatens our loyalty to the true God is the god of money.
