Sermon: A Mother That Never Forgets

Summary: In one of Isaiah's sections on the coming Servant of the Lord, Israel gives the skeptical response, the Lord has forgotten me.  We can believe things intellectually but not feel them in our heart or live by them.  God uses the metaphor of a nursing mother to affirm his love for his people.  Nursing mothers do not forget their infants physically or emotionally and their love is unconditional.  While some mothers might forget, God never will.  His love for us is engraved on the palms of his hands.
