Sermon Title: The Comfort of a Mother

Summary: Many metaphors are used in the Bible to describe God's nature.  Among these is the imagery of a mother.  In Isaiah 66:12-13, the maternal care and comfort of God is promised to the exhausted Israelite people.  This comfort comes in the hope of recovery by the means of a birth without labor.  Like a caring mother, God's faithfulness to his children is consistent.
