Sermon Title: Your Greatest Contribution to the Kingdom of God

Summary: We often think that the best contributions are the heroic acts, things we do for God's kingdom.  Amid the sweeping drama of the Old Testament story, we find a small little book detailing the life of a Moabite woman who finds her way into a Jewish family.  The story of Ruth seems oddly out of place until we get to the end of the story and we discover the name of her great-grandson, David.  Sometimes the greatest contributions to the kingdom of God is not things we do, but people we raise.
