Summary: The Bible is a big book more easily digested one verse at a time. By examining pivotal verses in the Bible's narrative, we get a clearer view of God. When Israel is delivered from Egypt by God's grace, they enter a covenant with him which he encourages them to keep. Instead of obeying to be accepted by God, his children obey because they have been accepted by him.
