Sermon Series: Worship Wars (Studies in 1 Corinthians 11-14)
Sermon:  (Part 1) God's Design for the Genders
Summary: In his first letter to the Corinthian church, Paul addresses several questions and concerns with this congregation.  Some of the problems related to worship including gender roles, the Lord's Supper, spiritual gifts, and orderliness in worship.  As the church today faces worship wars there are foundational principles found in these four chapters that can help us navigate contemporary questions about worship.  In part 1, we explore Paul's discussion of God's functional design of the differences in genders.  This eternal principle was demonstrated in a cultural practice in Corinth: women's head coverings.
