Sermon: The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

Summary: Misery loves company and it seems to be an epidemic in our culture and even in the church.  Discontentment, misery and depression bring feelings of personal inner weakness.  But our spirits crave inner strength.  Most people seem to believe that this strength can be found in chasing happiness.  Yet, sustained happiness seems unattainable.  In this lesson from Nehemiah 8:1-10, we discover the cure for misery among God's people:  not happiness based on circumstances but a joy of divine origin.
