Sermon Title: The Image of God

Summary:  The Bible consistently stresses the foundational concept that human beings are made in the image of God.  To be made in the image of God means that every human being has worth.  This should impact the way we see, and treat, others.  The image of God is the basis of civil rights and expands the circle of protected life.  Violence, injustice, slavery, genocide, etc. are all the result of the image of God being broken in us, so we don't honor it in others.  The only solution is to have the image of God restored in each of us.
