Sermon: Three Cries in the Dark
Summary: At noon the day Jesus was crucified, darkness covered all the land.  Three cries are heard from the cross, two from Jesus and one from a centurion bystander.  First is the cry of Jesus' passion, My God, My God Why Have You Forsaken Me.  Second, is the cry of Jesus' gospel, It Is Finished.  And third, is the cry of grace from the outsiders Surely This Was The Son Of God.  Standing at the foot of the cross we see the power behind the gospel of Jesus Christ.
